1869 Shield Nickel US 5c Coin L5
Please find for consideration an 1869 Shield Nickel, the Without Rays variety. Please note the coin has an older cleaning. On the obverse, please also note the tiny nicks/scratches on the shield, along with the indents near the rim in the 11-12 o'clock position.
We have provided a few photos each of the obverse/reverse. Photos #1, 2, 5 and 6 are of the coin flat on a surface and best reflects the tone of the coin when viewing directly, while photos #3, 4, 7 and 8 are of the coin at a slight angle to provide greater detail.
